1. Seek legal advice first.
    Ensure your matter is suitable for our involvement. You may need provisions in your Intervention Order allowing engagement with the other party through our service, and leave from the Magistrates’ Court to provide us with a copy of the order.

  2. Prepare an itemised list.
    A clear, finite list of the items to be collected must be submitted to us before a booking can be confirmed.

  3. Make a booking.
    Contact our office via email admin@betterapart.com.au or phone 0437 204 952 to request a our terms of service and costs agreement and make a tentative booking. Full payment is required at the time of booking.

  4. Provide your documentation.
    Once the booking is accepted and a copy of the Intervention Order is received, your matter will be assigned to a trained property attendant.

  5. Supervised attendance.
    At the scheduled time, our property attendant will attend and observe the Respondent's collection. Further details are available in our service agreement. If a change to this time is required, please contact us as soon as is possible. Dependent on the conditions of your order, a change in time may not be possible.

  6. Receive footage and observational report.
    Within 72 hours, a secure link to body-worn camera footage and an observational report will be provided to all relevant parties.
